Achievement for All is a leading not-for-profit organisation that strives to support all children and young people who are underachieving in education. In partnerships with early years settings, schools and colleges, it has had a positive and measurable impact in almost 5,000 schools, and on the lives of more than 100,000 children and young people to date.
For more information please visit the Achievement for All website.
The Graduate Teaching Scheme (GTS) and Achievement for All graduate training initiative will bring together the contacts, expertise and drive of both organisations to help ensure that every child has great teachers. Working in collaboration, the partnership aims to help close the gaps in the UK’s education system, offering training and insight to prospective teachers, as well as support to pupils and staff in the schools that need it most.
As a graduate, if you are placed in an Achievement for All school you will be working directly with young people with the greatest need. Currently, the Achievement for All / GTS partnership is working in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
Achievement for All and the GTS believe that, through bringing new and enthusiastic talent into the classroom, this initiative can motivate graduates to begin lifelong and rewarding careers in education. By introducing them to pupils who experience daily disadvantages, and helping them help those pupils to succeed, we can create a true and lasting legacy of achievement for all.
